Who Is “The San Antonio Real Estate Guy”?

My name is Mark Caley. I’m “The San Antonio Real Estate Guy”. Yep, I even went down to the county courthouse and registered the assumed name. I guess that makes it official. But it won’t go on my tombstone. Wait, maybe it will… Anyway, this is the page on the site where I’m supposed to tell you how wonderful I am, my customer service is the best, I’ll sell your house in one day and for more money than anybody else, I work real estate 24 hours a day, blah, blah, blah. You know, the standard crapola. And some of it may be true but if you hire me to help you buy or sell real estate for you you’ll be the judge (I think you’ll be pleased). OK, since it’s required here’s the bullet list:

  • Texas Real Estate Sales license in 1989
  • Texas Real Estate Brokers license in 1995
  • Member of NAR, TAR, SABOR
  • Chairman, 2006 Equal Opportunity In Housing Committee (SABOR)
  • Member, 2004-2006, Realtor/Builder Committee (SABOR)

There’s more but you get the idea. And besides, maybe there’s other more personal stuff you’d like to know. Like this: I was born in 1957 in Corpus Christi, TX., went to 5 different elementary schools in Corpus Christi, Houston, Los Angeles, Midland, and Phoenix (we moved a lot), graduated King High School in 1975, played golf 7 days a week, messed around in construction for awhile, married my wife Linda in 1986 (she will tell you no other woman would have me and I am eternally grateful for her), son Ross was born in 1989, graduated Del Mar College with an Associates in Real Estate in 1992 (yep, that real estate thing again), moved to San Antonio in summer 1992, and have loved this city and the people in it ever since. You want more? Well, I’m not sure how much more there is but if you want to find out check back at this site every now and then and read my posts. I’ll stick mostly to real estate but there will be an occasional foray or diversion into parts unknown. Such as fun day trips from San Antonio. Good places to eat. Great service providers (I know a really good appliance repair guy). And while this page may be about me (ugghhh?) the rest of this site is all about you. Enjoy!
